Cincinnati, March 10, 2009. Girindus, a service provider to the pharmaceutical industry and a leading manufacturer of therapeutic oligonucleotides, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Steven Broadbent as Vice President of Quality.

Mr. Broadbent will provide compliance leadership in the areas of quality control, quality assurance and analytical development. He brings to Girindus nearly 30 years of global experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and validation leadership in the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).

Mr. Broadbent is a Licentiate of the British Royal Society of Chemistry in Advanced Analytical Chemistry, as well as a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC). Steven has demonstrated leadership qualities in both industry and in the community. He is a recipient of the Syntex Chairmen’s Recognition Award. Previously he worked for various companies including, Archimica Inc., Syntex, Roche, and Clariant, where he filled various quality leadership roles in the Americas and Europe.
