Bergisch Gladbach, May 14, 2008. Girindus, a service provider to the pharmaceutical industry and a leading manufacturer of therapeutic oligonucleotides, announced today that Dr. Michael J. Mc Lean has joined its oligonucleotide business team as a consultant. Dr. McLean is a highly recognized business leader and industry expert, with business interests in the diagnostics and therapeutics sectors in addition to specialty chemicals and API manufacturing. Prior to joining Girindus he was interim CEO for Oligovax and President of Avecia Biotechnology Inc, and he will continue his role as Chairman of Link Technologies Ltd, UK.
